Mexico and Spain ... fighting crime, side by side.

Mexico and Spain are working together to fight against international crime, drugs, and terrorism. Both of these countries are struggling with these issues. The Attorney General of Mexico and Spain’s Justice Minister met together to share information on how the two countries could work together to create less crime. They wanted to me more coordinated. Mexican cities are believed to be having illegal drug routes to Europe and other places. This is another reason why Spain and Mexico are trying to grow connected to stop these problems.

WHO (The World Health Organization) Acknowledges The President of Mexico's Bravery in Coping with Flu


The World Health Organization acknowledged the President of Mexico for alerting the world early about the spreading of the Swine Flu also know as H1N1. By alerting the world early they were able to keep the flu from spreading all over the world. This was hard for Mexico because it took a toll on their economy. No one wanted to go to Mexico for the fear of getting the Swine Flu. This is why they WHO thanks Mexico for alerting the world early and taking that toll on their economy.

Mexico has the worst drought ever!

Mexico usually has a rainy season that last four months. It starts in early June and ends in October. The people of Mexico usually prepare for floods during this period of time. This year there has been a drought that is the worst drought in years. It hasn’t rained in the last few months killing the animals and crops. Water and food is being rationed to the people. The government is finding that they have a great weight on their shoulders. They have had to find a way to use what water they have.
